Hi, I’m Lindsey, the baker behind The Barn Bell. My love for homemade sourdough bread started in my own kitchen, where I discovered the joy of sharing warm, fresh loaves with family and friends. I started this business to make sourdough simple, approachable, and a little magical for everyone — no matter where they live.
When I first started baking, sourdough felt intimidating. After years of practice (and a few flat loaves), I found a way to make it easy — dehydrated sourdough starter. It ships anywhere, lasts for years, and makes baking your first loaf a breeze. Now I get to help new bakers skip the overwhelm and jump straight to the good part: eating warm bread straight from the oven.
At The Barn Bell, I believe in slow living, wholesome ingredients, and keeping traditions alive. Every packet of starter is made with care, tested in my own kitchen, and packed with a little bit of homestead love.
